As a chef I have a focus on seasonal fresh, family focused food. This stems from starting to cook at a young age in my mothers kitchen. I have worked as a personal chef in New Zealand as well as many countries around the world.


I love bringing the fresh tastes on the Southern Mediterranean to New Zealand using the wonderful product and produce from the region. I love teaching and showing people how to get taste and flair into their food with little or no fuss.

I am a presenting chef at food shows around the country each year. I am also an invited speaker the the Gluten Free & Allergy Shows in New Zealand.

I have also been a presenting chef on TV and in 2012 I was the consulting chef for the very successful TV show, The Garden Pantry that aired on Sky Living Channel. I also present and demonstrate at Farmers Markets on occasion using fresh ingredients. This is usually a freestyle style of demonstration.

Writer and Author


2012 saw the release of my first cookbook, The New Zealand Gluten-Free Cookbook by Penguin Books New Zealand. This achieved great results on the weekly non-fiction best selling list following release.


I am presently working on other books that are mainstream, not focused on Gluten free (GF) but all recipes can be made GF with ease.


As a food writer I have a well established foodblog that is followed be thousands of people from New Zealand and around the world.

Food styling for the camera is an area I have a passion for. I am lucky to have worked with some wonderful photographers presenting clients products and creations to the world.

Several years ago I found out that I was intolerant to Gluten. This started me on a process as a chef to show people that they can love a GF life with taste and ease.


I work with many brands developing recipes for their products as well as running GF classes or speaking on this area. I also work in other allergy free recipe developments.
